Red DeerCervus elaphus · Veado
The crown of Iberian game. Mature stags carry exceptional antler mass — 8 to 14 points — and are pursued at first light during the autumn rut, when their bellowing rolls across the montado.
An ancient land of cork oak and wilderness, where red deer rut beneath the full moon and wild boar roam the riverbeds by night.
The Alentejo stretches across southern Portugal in vast, sun-burnt waves of cork oak and wild olive — a savanna shaped by centuries of montado, where shepherd, hunter, and beast have always lived close. By day, the silence is enormous. By moonlight, it comes alive.
Our private grounds lie deep within this wild interior, far from city light and ceremony. Red deer rut here in autumn beneath the harvest moon. Wild boar move in restless sounders along the riverbeds and oak valleys after dark. This is not a sport, it is a tradition, lived as it has been for generations.
Both species move with the moon and the season. Every hunt is timed, tracked, and earned.

Cunning, fearless, and abundant. Iberian boar are pursued through dense brush in driven hunts and from the stand at riverbeds where they come to feed by moonlight. Trophies regularly exceed 100 kg.
Whether you carry a rifle or a camera, the experience begins the same way — at dusk, with silence, and with respect for the ground beneath your feet.
Traditional big game pursuit
A guided, fully-licensed hunt led by a master hunter who knows every ridge, water and trail. Stalking and stand methods adapted to the moon, the wind and the movement of deer and wild boar.
The photographic safari
For those who prefer the lens to the trigger. A guided night-and-dawn safari from elevated hides and quiet stalks — the same deer and wild boar, the same skill, and a far rarer trophy: the photograph.
Game moves under bright moonlight. Our hunts are scheduled around the full moon, when the montado is at its most alive — and most beautiful.
